Fascism and Communism

Few places have suffered a more tumultuous political recent history than Prague.

From Imperialism to Independence in 1918 to Nazi occupation (1938-1945), into Communism (1945-1989) and through to present day Capitalism, Prague is the perfect place to explore political systems.

We visit the Residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and see the bullet that started the Great War, visit Prague’s award-winning Jewish museum , descend into the cellar where Reinhard ‘The Butcher’ Heydrich‘s Czech Resistance assassins fought to the last breath with the Nazis in a dramatic tale of heroism and betrayal and discover all about the torrid four decade communist rule that followed.
