Born in rural Northern of Scotland, Steven is never more at home than he is when playing sport the great outdoors. An accomplished sportsman and teacher, Steven ranks Captaining the University of Edinburgh Athletics Club amongst his finest achievements.
Having graduated with a First Class degree in Physical Education, Steven has since been working in international schools around the world as Director of Sport and Physical Education and co-founded International Sports Academy in 2013.
Also a graduate of The University of Edinburgh’s excellent Physical Education department, Scott is a vastly experienced teacher, managing Physical Education, Trips & Excursions and most recently as a Deputy Head Teacher.
Scott also has a long history of work with sports in a variety of forms; as a personal trainer, gym instructor, lifeguard and sports camp supervisor. His passion for sport came from a young age playing rugby, swimming, mountain biking and even the odd round of golf!
May is a graduate in European History and is a key member of our expert tour guiding team. As a passionate traveller and historian, Tom decided to leave his hometown in Wales and pursue his deep love of travel and history by becoming a tour guide in Scotland in 2009.
After a short period living in Barcelona, she moved to Edinburgh – lured by the fairytale landscape and intriguing history of the city – and has been enchanting tour groups with tales of fascinating ancient history ever since.
Having coached the Edinburgh Rugby 7’s team to lift the title at the esteemed Melrose 7’s contest, Ruaridh will be joining the ISA staff team as Head of Rugby.
In addition to being a full time development officer for the sport, Ruaridh coaches the Cyprus 7’s squad as well as invitational coaching roles at tournaments throughout the world. He is highly regarded and holds a level 3 qualification.
London 2012 Olympian and former GB Indoor Volleyball Captain Lynne Beattie will be joining us as Head of Volleyball!
With 95 International Caps for GB she has travelled far and wide competing in the sport. Lynne currently represents Scotland as a Beach Volleyball Player, has been honoured as an International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) ‘Hero’ where she is an ambassador for the sport worldwide.
Following his university graduation, Kyle relocated to Edinburgh in 2011 after a long-standing love affair with Scots history, architecture and culture and he has never looked back.
Originating from Northern Scotland, Kyle has amassed huge experience as a guide across The Highlands. But his talents don’t stop there – he is also a qualified psychologist and wonderful singer, so be sure to ask him for a song!
Simon is an experienced International school educator and founder of CAS Trips. Born in York, United Kingdom, he first travelled to Prague in 2005 and was immediately captivated by the city’s ancient charm.
Simon has taught English Literature and Language at International Schools in Indonesia, Switzerland, Brazil and Czech Republic. Inspired by his experience of the IB diploma programme and a desire to inspire students to fulfill their maximum potential, he founded CAS Trips in 2012.
After growing up in England, Malaysia and finally Australia, Callum possessed an avid interest in travel from a young age. Seeking adventure and new opportunities he moved to Prague to complete his finance studies at the famous Charles University.
Quickly realising that office life was not for him, Callum thrives in the great outdoors. In his senior role in the CAS Trips management team, Callum is able to utilize his professional skills with his passions for travel, history and education.
